Terms
These terms cover your use of Soak It In, a text-message service operated by Dain Kasprak as a sole proprietor. By signing up or texting Soak It In, you agree to them.
The text-message program
- Program name: Soak It In.
- What it does: you text in insights from things like sermons, therapy, books and conversations. Soak It In saves them, sends them back to you as reminders at useful moments, and replies with relevant saved insights when you describe a situation.
- How you opt in: by requesting an invite on soakit.in and checking the consent box. Once your invite is approved, you'll receive a welcome text.
- Message frequency: varies with how you use it, typically 1–3 messages per day, including reminders and replies to your messages.
- Cost: Soak It In is free. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
- Opting out: reply STOP at any time to stop all messages. You'll get one confirmation text, then no more messages unless you opt back in by replying START.
- Help: reply HELP for help, or email soaked.it.in@gmail.com.
- Other commands: PAUSE and RESUME pause and restart reminders; LIST shows your recent insights; DELETE ALL permanently deletes your data.
- Supported numbers: US and Canadian mobile numbers. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and the account holder of the mobile number you sign up with, or have the account holder's permission.
A test, not a finished product
Soak It In is an early, invite-only test. It may change, have errors, miss or mistime reminders, or end at any time. It's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.
Not professional advice
Soak It In reflects back what you've told it, and some replies are generated by AI. It isn't medical, mental-health, legal or other professional advice, and it isn't a crisis service. If you're in crisis in the US or Canada, call or text 988, or call 911 in an emergency.
Your content
What you text in stays yours. You allow Soak It In to store and process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Don't send anything illegal or anything you don't have the right to share.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Soak It In and its operator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and total liability is limited to $0, since the service is free.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will let you know by text before significant changes take effect. You can stop using Soak It In at any time by texting STOP, and we may end the test or your access at any time.
